I picked up a neat little 28 bore back action that recently been sleeved and re proofed for 2 3/4 nitro modern ammo. Nicely made with Stantons rebounding lock Purdey style bolt and Greener leverwork. Hard to find information about the maker E Chamberlain Circa 1890.
possible gunsmith who bought actions from the Trade? Any clues about maker?nothing in data base.

Re: E Chamberlain
may have found the information I was looking for. Sourced from a pigeon watch 2018 post by someone looking for info on this gunmaker. the Photo is the shop the gun most likely came from with the employees/relatives standing in front of the shop. amazing
Looks like the kind of store I could not pass by without going in.Re: E Chamberlain
Allen,
You seem to be confusing our database search feature probably by putting in too much info. Just type "Chamberlain" into the search box NOTHING ELSE ! There is a whole load of information there !
