First day on Partridge today in the West Country. Took the Fairmans, subject to my recent posts. A very good day with birds flying well for first time through. Used 3 drms of medium to 1 1/4oz of shot 7s seemed to work well.
98 for just over 300 shots for 10 guns including 3 flintlocks. Murray

Sounds wonderful, well done. Still over a month until my first day.

Image Our tradition to mark the opening of Dove season Is a Family and friends day dove shoot. Young people get to try their
shotguns and the old dogs get some easy retrieves doing what they love to do. lots of ammunition is generally expended. Picnics featuring grilled dove breast wrapped in bacon are followed by old Men and dogs napping and remembering days afield.
