Suppliers to Lincoln Jeffries
Are there any records as to who may have supplied Jeffries? I know BSA was one, any others? Also did he in turn supply to others?

Re: Suppliers to Lincoln Jeffries
Hi Rick,
Afraid this is likely to be an impossible question to answer, in the absence of any relevant paperwork, which is highly unlikely.
Since the firm were smack in the middle of the Birmingham Gun Quarter, mostly Whittall Street and Steelhouse Lane, they would have used the army of outworkers scattered within a few paces of their own workshops, plus perhaps some or all lockwork from the Wolverhampton based specialists.
The only outside connection I am aware of is their building BSA airguns in their later years.
Tim

Tim is right, but note that in the database it says that the owners of the firm now appear to be Alan and David Jeffries, who are engineers who still make air gun / rifle pellets and other lead products.
Three Firearms Registers dating from about 1920 to 1990 were sold at auction in London in September 2004, they are now at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. They might have some information.
