Armstrong & Co.

Hi John, 52 Years ago I was given a 12 bore Boxlock Non Ejector by Armstrong for my 21st birthday. It has lovely Damascus barrels and was Re- proofed at the time and still measures .729. I understand you may have information on the serial Number which is 42291. Many thanks. Murray

Re: Holts Auctions

I attended the viewing on the Wednesday. The new venue was very well organised and felt much like the old. My particular interest is Black Powder. Some of the guns appeared inexpensive in the photos but close up not quite as smart but appeared to sell well. The most interesting was the 7 barrel flin...

Hammond Bros, 10 Jewry St., Winchester

Hammond Bros, 10 Jewry St, Winchester. Double Barrel 28 Bore sidelever Hammergun. No. 35621 ?. I acquired the above in the early 70's. I was told that it had been kept wrapped up hidden in an apple tree for many years. The ravages of time had lifted the top rib and it was in a sorry state. Having a ...

Hi All, Just a quick note to thank the club. I purchased a double Boss percussion Case at the last Holts auction of which I have just taken delivery. The Guns fit as if they were made for the case and the copy Fairman Trade label, provided by the club, has now been pasted, without affecting the orig...

Re: Samuel Ebrall

Further update on the Ebrall. It appears that this is the stock and action from a rifle married with 16 bore shotgun barrels from the same maker. Murray
